A hachiko is a type of dog who always keeps its owner waiting at the train station until the owner returns home. Hachikos are loyal to their owners and will wait for days, even years for them. The story of an Hachi is interesting because it teaches that trustfulness is important for relationships. Hachi was given to a professor as payment by his students, but they never imagined their lives would change forever with his arrival. Hachi is a beautiful Akita dog who is clever and clever, but has lost her mother when she gave birth to seven puppies. Hachi grew up with the professor's daughters Ayako and Yaeko. She was trained by them to be obedient. When she was about four years old, she began familiarize herself with the station. It began when she started to accompany his owner, Professor Parker to Shinjuku station in Tokyo every morning at eight o'clock. He said goodbye to her at the station entrance and returned home by train for work in Shibuya everyday, instead of walking like other people did. At first, Hachi thought Professor Parker was going to Tokyo and would come again, but the professor did not come back until evening. Hachi stopped accompanying Professor Parker to the station after one month. She waited for the train every day at the station entrance until evening. Many people were amazed because she sat at the station entrance without moving by herself, even in a cold winter day or a hot summer's day. After several years had passed, no one thought much about her anymore as she always sat at that same place waiting for Professor Parker to return from Tokyo. Hachi never moved from that place because she was waiting for her master every night. Every day she was watched by people passing by, but after six years without results, no one gave Hachi food or water except the professor's daughters who visited her everyday. Professor Parker wasn't dead, but he had to work away from home for his job. Still, Hachi waited every day at the station entrance for him to return even though she knew it would never happen. Hachi would have died of starvation if not for Ayako and Yaeko who brought her food everyday. Many people went to the station only to see Hachi waiting while howling with grief. Yaeko received a letter from Professor Parker explaining what had happened after six years of departure. Professor Parker explained that he had to live in Tokyo for work in the morning, but that Hachi could go with him in the evening when he returned in the evening. Hachi was glad to hear his voice over the telephone, but she still waited every day at the station entrance for him to return. After another letter from Professor Parker arrived, Hachi was very happy because she knew her owner would come back to her again. Yet Yaeko realized something when reading this letter - Hachi never understood why her owner always went away and never came back until the next morning. 8eeb4e9f32 26
